‘anything else’ ist ein Tanzstück über die Unfähigkeit, Beziehungen einzugehen, über Isolation und die Sehnsucht danach, sie zu überwinden. Alle Kommunikationsversuche enden im Unvermögen und letztlich in Gewalt. ‘anything else’ handelt von der Differenz zwischen der Selbsteinschätzung und der Sicht der anderen, zwischen privatem und öffentlichem Verhalten.
‘I was asking myself all the questions you’re supposed to. When I saw you there stuck on the wall, I draw a circle around your head, it flew away. I wanted to know why, is everybody feeling the same? thing. It feels as if the
door was locked, so of course, I escape. And then, I run, and run, and run, until nothing. It is odd to think of you here. Today, before going out, I tried all my clothes on and I sat, and I waited. My hair is getting too long but nothing happens. I couldn’t really make a clear decision. Maybe I should phone you to ask what about tomorrow? And we would laugh and be terribly happy to be with someone else. Think low for fear of being caught. (but) I am in. Is there someone sitting quietly in the middle (they are listening to me) on the other side? They told me I should be ashamed of myself. All right’
